I was a little late in starting to take photos of this restoration but you will get the idea quickly on where we are going with this Boss 302 restoration. This is a very special car sent to us by an excellent customer of ours in Texas. This is one of two Boss 302's that were coverted from a single four barrel fuel delivery system to a Shelby dual quad set up. The car is an original bright gold car and we are going to restore as such. These pictures show that the car has been torn down and body work has begun.

Continuing with the photos from above, here are some pictures of the body work that we had to complete to make this a show car. There was damage to the hood, right and left quarter panels, and the rear body panel. All of this damage was not properly repaired when then was painted the previous time. We will have to go back and take outa considerable amount of filler, re-shape the metal, and make the car once again straight before shooting paint on this Boss.

Just when we thought we had seen the worst of the body repairs, we looked at the front floor pans. Someone had tried to go the cheap way out and had spread fiberglass directly over rusting panels. I wish I could say this was the first time I have seen this but, it is not. In stead of removing all of the decaying parts, treating the area, and then replacing with new metal they covered it up and hoped no one would look too closely to their handy work. We will address this properly and make it look like we were never there.
