It is time to return to the engine bay on this Boss 302 restoration. As you can seein the photos the engine has been put back into the bay. We will now replace the incorrect items that were on the Boss 302 when purchased. We are also going to add items that were not present. There many things that you should look for when buying a Boss 302. These things are not deal breakers, but, the price should reflect what is present and what is not. This Boss 302 had the wrong alternator, snorkel, distributor, and a few other items. Those have been changed to reflect correct items. In doing this Boss 302 restoration we also had to add the water tubes that run along the passenger valve cover, the heat shield, heater hoses, battery, voltage regulator, and starter solenoid. Another item that is commonly missing that we added to this Boss 302 is the carburetor anti-deisel solenoid. This boss 302 was more complete than some but it also needed a seasoned eye to know what was missing and what was out of place.

Next, we hung the fenders. We put the hood on temporarily to aid in the alognment process for this Boss 302 restoration. After the fenders, headlamp buckets, and hood were aligned we finished with the tape stripe. As we finish this Boss 302 restoration I will add the final photos.
